Clear, Fair Guidelines for Modifying or Canceling Your Reservation

At Renton Taxi, we dedicate a specific vehicle and professional driver to your scheduled time slot to guarantee on-time pickup. Because we commit these resources to your travel window, we have established fair and transparent guidelines for booking adjustments, cancellations, and passenger wait times.

1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Windows

We understand that travel itineraries, flight schedules, and personal plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel or modify your ride, please take note of our clear timeframes:

  • Standard Cancellation Window (Free): Cancellations or changes made more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund with absolutely zero penalties or processing fees.

  • Late Cancellation & No-Show Fee: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time, or instances where a passenger fails to arrive at the designated vehicle (“No-Show”), are subject to a fee up to the full amount of the quoted flat-rate fare.

  • How to Cancel: To ensure your request is documented and processed immediately, please email us or call our dispatch team directly.

2. Airport Arrival Wait Times & Adjustments

We actively monitor all inbound flights to SeaTac Airport, Paine Field, and Boeing Field to take the stress out of your return flight.

  • Real-Time Flight Tracking: If your flight is delayed or lands early, our automated dispatch tracking system shifts your pickup time accordingly for free. You do not need to contact us regarding standard airline adjustments.

  • Complimentary Airport Wait Time: Every airport arrival includes 30 minutes of free waiting time starting from the exact moment your plane officially touches down on the tarmac, giving you plenty of time to clear customs and gather luggage.

3. Standard Local Wait Times (Non-Airport Pickups)

For residential, hotel, business, or local point-to-point transit throughout the Renton area, our drivers work on a strict schedule to ensure the next passenger is not delayed.

  • Complimentary Grace Period: A 5-minute complimentary grace period is provided from your scheduled pickup time.

  • Extended Waiting Fees: If a driver is required to wait past the initial 5 minutes (for local pickups) or 30 minutes (for airport arrivals), additional waiting fees may apply, billed transparently in 15-minute increments.

4. Vehicle Capacity & Refusal of Service

  • Luggage Restrictions: It is the customer’s responsibility to select the correct vehicle class (Sedan, SUV, or Van) to fit all passengers and cargo safely.

  • Safety Callouts: Our drivers reserve the right to cancel a pickup on the spot without a refund if a group attempts to load more passengers or luggage than the vehicle is legally and safely rated to carry.
